Georgia Virtual Capitol Day February 5th

The AFSP Georgia Chapter is hosting a Virtual State Capitol Day event
on Friday, February 5th from 12noon - 1:00pm Eastern.

REGISTER HERE for the virtual event. 

This event will bring passionate advocates like yourself together to learn about the state policy changes that can improve mental health and prevent suicide and where you can become involved in the legislative process.

Interested advocates will also have the opportunity to schedule phone and video calls with state legislators in the 2 weeks following the event to:

  • Share with them why suicide prevention is important to YOU and to your community
  • Educate them about the work being done in your community to prevent suicide
  • Teach them what more must be done to prevent suicide
